ANA Baggage

Carry-On Allowance: 1 Bag + 1 Personal Item

Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer garments do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements:

  • Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage (including all handles, wheels, etc.): 22 in x 16 in x 9 in/55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm (length + width + height)
  • Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage: 22lb/10kg

REMINDER: Bulkhead seats do not have underseat storage during take-off and landing.

Transpacific flights (including U.S.A.)

First Class:

  • Baggage Allowance: 3 pieces
  • Maximum Dimensions of each piece: 62 linear inches/158 cm (length + width + height)
  • Maximum Weight of each piece: 70 lb/32 kg

Business Class:

  • Baggage Allowance: 2 pieces
  • Maximum Dimensions of each piece: 62 linear inches/158 cm (length + width + height)
  • Maximum Weight of each piece: 70 lb/32 kg

Economy Class:

  • Baggage Allowance: 1 pieces
  • Maximum Dimensions of each piece: 62 linear inches/158 cm (length + width + height)
  • Maximum Weight of each piece: 50 lb/23 kg

Infants not occupying a seat:

  • Baggage Allowance: 1 piece + one fully collapsible stroller or infant carrying basket/car seat

Excess Baggage

Extra piece of luggage:

  • Asia and India to North America or Hawaii/Asia and India to Europe: USD $150
  • Japan to Asia or India: USD $100
  • Japan domestic: 5,000 Yen
