The seat was ok for a budget airline, There is good legroom. The only downside is that it was untidy and messy. But the staff was nice and calm. there was a noisy family on the plane but the staff did not get angry or scream (Like other low-cost airlines) They were very calm and welcoming.

I recently had numerous flights with Air Asia on this aircraft. I have chosen 19A to review as I generally don't like window seats. The previous reviewers are obviously not familiar with European low cost airlines. I found all of the seats I had to have good knee space and plenty of foot space. I can think of long haul aircraft with less (BA B787). The seat were well padded and only became a little uncomfortable towards the end of the flight.

Assigned this seat flight bangkok to saigon and it was by far worst i have encountered. It did not recline and when seat in front reclined if i put my thumb on my nose i could touch the seat in front of me with my fingers. I have taken over 100 flights on other airlines in past two years and this was by far the worst.

14C is a HotSeat at the exit row. This is the best seat on the plane. It has extra legroom, recline and there is no ad on the seatback in front of you as it is used for emergency procedure. Well worth the extra cost. Several other passengers tried to grab the empty exit row hot seats but all had to return to their original seats by order of the flight attendants.

Seat at 31A are very tight. No recline for back row seat. Seat pitch very tight. If you can avoid this seat, please do so. No fun at all. Tried and tested on 27th June 2017.

Air Asia planes are simply just full of ads. If you are adverse to them: just be prepared for the cabin overhead lockers to be plastered with ads, the seatback in front of you will have ads on stickers glued on the tray when it is in a locked position. I can still see them when my eyes are closed 5 days after my trip.

This Hot Seat has tons of legroom, being in an exit row, but no recline (meh. I don't recline in tight spaces anyway. One time my computer nearly got crushed between the tray table and the seat when someone reclined). It's very comfortable, and you still get a nice view outside. Registration: PK-AZG

The Hot Seats, as far as I can see, has at least 1 inch of extra legroom, about 30". I've done a 29" seat pitch flight on Citilink, and it's far worst than this. There's slightly more knee-room on the standard Hot Seats.

for someone who >170 cm tall, its a bit uncomfortable because your knee will touch the front seat :D. it's not a big problem but,if the other passenger in front of you is reclining their seat, it is a big problem :D

It is worth paying extra for a hot seat in the exit row. Much more leg room. Even better if other seats in the row are empty. KL to HKT the staff stopped other passengers taking these empty seats (but didnt HKT to KL)

I have the same experience with the legroom. I'm 186cm and my knees really touch my front seat which is the hot seat. Unfortunately the person who sit in front of me recline his seat so I feel squeezed on my seat. Luckily I'm sitting on the aisle so I can stretch my feet out sometimes. There's also time when my knees bumped with a food cart that passed by.

Beware if you are over 175cm tall. I am 172 and found the seat extremely uncomfortable, no recline and my knees were pushing into the seat in front of me. Luckily the person in front did not recline. Felt like I was in a box.
