Carry-On Allowance: 1 Bag + 1 Personal Item

Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a laptop bag, handbag, or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer garments do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. You must be able to lift your carry-on into the overhead storage without assistance. All carry-on bags must adhere to the following requirements:

  • Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage: 42 linear in/115 cm (length + width + height)
  • Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage: 22 lb/10 kg

REMINDER: Bulkhead seats do not have underseat storage during take-off and landing.

Checked Baggage Allowance:

 

Domestic and European flights: Basic: 0 bags; Classic Flexible: 1 bag; Business: 2 bags.

Long-haul flights: 1 bag; Business: 2 bags; Business Plus: 3 bags.

Flights to/from Africa and the Middle East: Economy1 bag; Business: 2 bags.

Each bag must adhere to the below requirements:

  • Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches/158 cm (length + width + height)
  • Maximum Weight: 51 lb/23 kg

Overweight Baggage Fees

Fees for overweight baggage vary based on route. If an excess baggage voucher is purchased online before your flight, a 30 percent discount will be assessed.

CPAP Devices: 

CPAP machines are permitted on board. To avoid problems at security controls and on board, these items of equipment must be properly marked with a tag indicating that they have been approved for use on aircraft by the FAA, or alternatively they must be accompanied by documentation confirming this fact.
