Do I have to reserve a seat for my infant?

No, infants can travel as lap passengers with an accompanying adult. For information regarding infant tickets and reservations, please contact the airline.

Requirements

Lion Air requires that passengers carrying infants 7 days and younger must provide a Medical certificate to confirm that the infant is fit to travel. This certificate must be issued within 72 hours before the departure time.

In order to qualify for infant travel, the child must be less than 2 years old.

Passengers traveling with an infant cannot check-in online and must check-in at the airport.

Baggage Allowance

Infants without a seat are not entitled to checked baggage. However, infant food and a carrying basket are allowed on board free of charge.
