Carry-on Baggage Allowance

First/Business Class: 1 bag + 1 briefcase

  • Bag must not exceed 22 x 18 x 10 in (56 x 45 x 25 cm) or 20 lb (9kg)
  • Briefcase must not exceed 18 x 8 x 14 in (45 x 20 x 35 cm)

Guest Class: 1 bag

  • Bag must not exceed 22 x 18 x 10 in (56 x 45 x 25 cm) or 15 lb (7 kg)
Exceptions for flights departing from USA/Canada to Saudia Arabia:
  • All passengers can carry 1 bag
  • Bag must not exceed 16 lb (7 kg) or 45 in (114 cm) in total linear dimensions
All passengers may also carry an overcoat/wrap, umbrella/crutches, binoculars, camera, handbag/pocketbook, and reading material in addition to the free carry-on baggage allowance.

Checked Baggage Allowance

All bags to/from the USA and Canada must not exceed 62 in (157 cm) in total linear dimensions. All other bags must not exceed 81 in (205 cm) in total linear dimensions.

Flights within Saudia Arabia

  • Guest Class: 1 bag up to 55 lb (25 kg)
  • First/Business Class: 2 bags up to 55 lb (25 kg) each
  • Saudia Alfursan (Gold/Silver) members and SkyTeam (Elite Plus/Elite) members are allowed to carry 1 extra piece up to 55 lb (25 kg)

International Flights

  • Guest Class: 1 bag up to 72 lb (32 kg), 2 bags up to 71 lb (32 kg) each from USA/Canada and some other flights- consult your ticket
  • First/Business Class: 2 bags up to 71 lb (32 kg) each
  • Saudia Alfursan (Gold/Silver) members and SkyTeam (Elite Plus/Elite) members are allowed to carry 1 extra piece up to 51 lb (23 kg)

Excess Baggage Fees

 Flights within Saudia Arabia

  • $27 (SR100) for each piece over the weight limit or each additional piece over the allowance
International Flights
  • Each additional piece should not exceed 51 lb (23 kg) or the standard dimensions
  • $60 charge for each bag over 51 lb (23 kg) up to 71 lb (32 kg)
  • An additional $100 charge if the piece is over 71 lb (32 kg)
  • An additional $100 charge if the piece is over standard dimensions
