What is flybmi’s (BM) baggage policy?

The flybmi (BM) baggage policy follows:

   Carry-on baggage

   1 personal item or 1 carry-on item - Fee free – Economy fares

   1 personal item and 1 carry-on item - Fee free – Executive fares

   Checked baggage / Hold luggage – Economy – 1 bag, 23kg max; Executive – 2 bags, 23kg max each

   Overweight and Oversize bags - Applicable fees per bag depending on weight and size categories

   Sports equipment – Sports equipment items will incur a fee when checked. However, if traveling on and Executive fare, then one piece, up to the 23kg max weight, of sporting equipment may be checked as one of the two free pieces, or one piece up to the 46kg max weight of the combined two free pieces.

What is flybmi’s (BM) carry-on baggage policy?

flybmi (BM) allows 1 carry-on bag or 1 personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop bag) per passenger fee free traveling on an Economy fare. If traveling on an Executive fare then 1 carry-on bag and 1 personal item per passenger may be carried-on.

   Carry-on should not exceed the following size and weight restrictions:

   118 centimeters (55 x 40 x 23 cm) including handles and wheels

   Fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you

   Personal item should not exceed the following size and weight restrictions:

   90 centimeters (43 x 25 x 22 cm)

   Fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you

   A jacket, umbrella, diaper bag, duty free items, and assistive devices (wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, strollers, child restraint seats, etc.) do not count towards your carry-on allowance.

NOTE:  Bulkhead seats do not have under seat storage, therefore, all carry-on baggage must be stowed in the overhead bin during take-off and landing.

   1 bag standard Economy fare and 2 bags standard Executive fare

   Maximum weight:  50 pounds or 23 kilograms

Are there fees for excess and overweight baggage on flybmi (BM)?

Yes, fees apply for excess, sports, and music equipment.  They are determined by the type of fare you purchased and your destination. Check the www.flybmi.com website in the baggage section or telephone a Customer Contact Centre for up-to-date details.

Are there fees for sports equipment on flybmi (BM)?

 

Sports equipment such as skis, golf bags, fishing equipment, hockey, and lacrosse equipment will be accepted up to flybmi’s (BM) size and weight limits.
