Overview

United Airlines added the Boeing 737 MAX 9 to their fleet in 2018. The aircraft is configured with First, Economy Plus and Economy Class seating. The standard seats in Economy feature a redesign of the back literature pocket and tray table to provide additional legspace. The seats also contain a tablet/personal device holder positioned at a comfortable viewing level.

Seatbelt has airbag attached that makes it bulky and uncomfortable, especially if you try to sleep. Lavatory ventilation on Max 9 is bad...smells coming from lavatory at times were disgusting.

Some kind of box takes out 3 to 4 inches of foot room. I would add that seat 11a has no window.

Entertainment equipment intrudes on the left foot. Extra leg room in economy plus is thereby hemmed in.
