Seat 1A was good with plenty of knee room. My toes were pressed up against the bulkhead but not too bad (I'm 6'2"). Overall I would choose this seat again. Unlike bulkhead seats in economy class, this does not have the annoyingly narrow seats due to full length arm rests, these are standard business class seats.

The armrest is missing, the interior wall curves such that it hits your shoulder if you are tall and you have to lean to the right, so if you are tall this is not so good, and the window is misaligned. But there is more leg room.

Seat 4A is directly behind 1st Class seating on the port side of the plane. There is plenty of leg room, perhaps more than anywhere else on the plane. I was able to store my carry on bag underneath the 1st class seat in front of me. There is a window to the immediate left of the seat and another window just a little forward. 4A is an excellent choice.

Row 21 is entirely unacceptable and we should have gotten reduced tickets for this on 4/29/18. Extreme noise and very crowded. there is no excuse for operating this configuration.

Horrible seat for First Class fare! small, uncomfortable seat with terrible view of rest room and in direct line of all restroom odors. Pretty scary flying from Houston to Phoenix (2.5 hours) when weather was rough and stormy. AA should be ashamed to fly this old run down airplane and still charge premium prices.....Never again!

The windows is misaligned at seat 5F, positioned behind your shoulder. There is a large, blank panel where you would expect the window.

I enjoyed this aircraft OKC-CLT. 1st Class seat comfy, large, good view out window. FA attentive. Aircraft was clean. My roll aboard fit in the 2-seat side overhead bin. Breakfast was appropriate....but airline coffee is AWFUL...regardless whether Qantas, BA, AA, Lufthansa, Swiss Air...no one gets it right

Very old ex US Airways Express plane. Dirty and in bad shape. MCE legroom in row 13 is good, but seat cushion is extremely short and very sparsely padded -- super uncomfortable. Avoid these regional jets if you can.

Planes in this configuration are former US Airways Express planes with NO upgrades whatsoever. As such, this plane was very dirty and run down. Two exit doors had failing handles. The overhead bins and wall panels were gross. The windows at this row (and most other economy rows for that matter) are misaligned and basically belong to the row in front, so you'd have to lean way forward to look out and hope the person in front doesn't recline. Of course this didn't matter in my case since the window was so dirty anyway I could barely see anything. And for whatever reason, the window shade is closed by pulling up instead of down, with the shade not even closing all the way. Avoid this seat, and better yet, avoid this aircraft.

Why would the realign every seat in coach so you are looking at a wide wall unless you lean forward into the seat in front or look back over your shoulder. This is something they would design in a Saturday Night Live skit. It kills the enjoyment of seeing out since only the headrests have a view. Absurd.

I flew on the CRJ-900 on a flight from ABQ-PHX. Although some people complain about this aircraft there is really nothing wrong with it. Economy seats are fine (and I'm 6"1' so that says allot) and the aircraft is very quiet as long as you aren't in the last 2 rows. Only complaint would be the misaligned windows which are a little annoying. Overall these aircraft are fine. Not near as bad as the people complaining say they are.

Flew the ABQ-DFW route. Most of the windows on this jet are misaligned. If you are looking for a window seat know that half of the window for each row is part of the row in front of you. There is bulkhead immediately next to you.

Flew from DFW-LIT on Dec 9th 2015. My first time on a CRJ and I was greatly impressed! I thought that this plane would be louder than it actually was, but maybe its because of my seat near the front. Seat was very comfy, the flight attendants were great, and the flight was amazing. Thank you AA!

American sells the front half of the Economy Cabin as Main Cabin Extra. Apart from the brand new additions to the fleet, these seats are regular economy legroom, all you are getting is Group 1 boarding.

This is an awful seat that should be replaced. The actual seat is several inches shorter than normal, i.e. you have no support underneath you from the middle of you leg to the knee. I moved as soon as we got off the ground.
