The 76L and 76T version of the 767-300 is the same aircraft. When designated as 76T, there is a pilot rest module installed which decreases the Delta One cabin to 34 seats. This is mostly on long haul flights. When designated as 767 or 76L, the full Delta One cabin is in use.

Was recently on this aircraft ATL-EZE and a week later on the return. How they can call this Delta One is beyond comprehension. Everything said previously is true, small IFE screen, tiny cubby for your feet when sleeping. To that list I'll add no air vents, malfunction reading lights and absolutely no accessible storage around the seat. Must give the Delta crew credit as they were excellent on both flights but my seat on the A330-300 from SEA-ATL was much better. If you can avoid this 767-300 aircraft for anything longer than 4 hours, do so!

Row 22 is an "upgrade" seat somehow, despite being roughly the same as the rest of the economy cabin. The rough part of 22, however, is that it is right behind Comfort+, which means they can recline drastically into your space. It is a very bad seat -- especially for an upgrade.

Oh, lordy, I wish they would retire this thing! The seats in business class (Delta One) are torturous. Too narrow, with little padding, and simply no comfortable position no matter how many ways you try it. Using this plane for an 11 hour international flight is cynical, at best. The single rows are slightly better for comfort, but only in the odd-numbered seats that are not directly on the aisle. (Was in 3D on this plane two days earlier from ATL-SEA. Uncomfortable, but okay for a shorter flight) I felt very glad that i was with my traveling companion in the middle row of two seats, as they have NO separation between the seats. I would HATE being next to a stranger in these seats. Additionally, the IFE screens are woefully small with TERRIBLE selection. My IPad is bigger than this screen, with better resolution. You’re better off using the Delta app on your tablet than this ridiculous seat back screen. Do yourself a favor and find another plane for international business travel. There is NO good seat in this class on this plane.

(My first review but I fly often) Must agree with the comments about seat 21A. The cushion is very very thin and for the 10 hour flight SEA-CDG it was painful. Will try to bring own cushion or use several blankets for seating. This seat is next to the exit door. It has very good leg room, but with the door it can get really cold sitting here for 11+ hours. Get more blankets to use as insulation between you and the door. Due to toilets near this area, it is somewhat smelly (open the air vent above you to help) and very busy for most of the night time flight.

Pretty speechless boarding ICN - SEA in 763, Seat 1A that was by far on the most ancient aircraft I have ever flown. For such a coveted route, one would think that Delta would want to showcase their services from Asia, such as their new A350 SEA - NRT service...NOT SO with this aircraft. Extremely narrow compared to any of Delta's other widebody jets. The screen was so small and burnt out from age that one had no way of watching a film to any enjoyment. Absolutely zero storage, not even for a eReader or smartphone. Lie-flat is questionable vs. other lie flats on newer aircraft. On this aircraft there was still a slight slant in the angle and extremely narrow foot hold area. Worst of all for seat 1A is proximity to the lavatories. Due to the plane's age, the plumbing in the lavatory needed maintenance and the lavatory fumes wafted back from time to time for 10 hours and 12 minutes. Finally, there is very little overhead storage due to several oxygen tanks in the overhead bin directly over the seat. Thus, one has to store carry-on baggage in bins further back from the front of the plane. Stinky, Tight and Worn-Out best describe this Seat in my experience today.

Flew FRA to ATL on 6/6/19 and the Comfort Class seating was not as indicated. There was a row in front of 17G and H which was an exit aisle with no windows. There were also other Comfort seating with no windows. Other than a little extra leg room and seat recline there is no reason to incur the expense for Comfort Class. No foot rest so even in full recline not very comfortable. Same meals and drinks,

Good: maximum legroom. Bad: seats are very hard, not comfortable enough for such long flights. Monitor far away and tray table is in the armrest, you have no alternative and cant stand up or move while you have even a drink at your seat.

you cant lay back the seat because the person behind you (main cabine) has zero space for his knees, you feel the knees in your back. Seats are hard and not comfortable, not enough for 9-hour-flights.

Row 17 is improperly described on this layout. For the middle set of seats there is a ton of legroom before the bulkhead, however, for the two pairs of row 17 seats between the aisle and window, the bulkhead is much closer and legroom is cramped. Avoid these seats! Also, no passengers congregate in this area, contrary to the comment.

Was severely lectured on exit row protocol as this was an exit row. Most uncomfortable flight ever. The seat was hard and unyielding, could not get comfortable. The aircraft was also very noisy and the inside of the cabin walls were as cold as a refrigerator. (poor insulation)? Food equal to worst ever. Flight felt like a 24 hour marathon.

I froze from Amsterdam to Salt Lake City UT, which is a 9.5 to 10.5 hour flight. Thank goodness I had gloves and a jacket with me. I had two blankets and a pillow up against my right side. You should NOT sell this seat. I paid extra to be in the Delta comfort + and was VERY disappointed.

The seatrow is directly behind Comfort+. Your seat will not recline as much as the row in front of you, resulting in less living and breathing area.

For folks with wide shoulders, you know how sometimes the seat aligns with the curve of the window and sometimes your shoulder hits a bump in the wall? In this seat, your shoulder will hit the bump. If you want that extra inch or two of shoulder space, the bulkhead has it but now 18A. But the bump was helpful for sleeping Recline on seat makes a different for comfort when a sleep. This seat is far away enough from the lav that I didn't even realize the lav was close until I needed to go. My plane had the old, small screens but usb ports for charging in the seat back AND underneath the seat. And no bar separating the foot space between you and the person in 18B which was not a problem for me personally as I didn't sit next to a manspreader for once.

I'm OK with this rating but it seems that the standard "be aware" seat caution is a little formulaic. This seat has a lot of leg room and this is tremendously advantageous when you don't know your seat partner as it allows easy egress from the seat without disturbing them. I also saw no evidence at all to suggest passengers congregate here. It is actually almost impossible since immediately in front of the bulkhead is Delta One so there is no need to congregate here. This should be omitted from this "be aware" comment in my opinion. I would definitely choose this seat again. It is true that the window is a little offset backwards but still perfectly easy to look out. The service on this flight was very good - I had to have the IFE screen restarted which was done quickly and efficiently. 767s are getting long in the tooth now but they are transatlantic workhorses for a reason and I have no problem flying either Delta or this plane in the future.

These front row seats often come with a note about the galley proximity being bothersome. However I haven't found it so the couple of times I've flown in this version of Delta One and didn't this time either. In fact, I choose these front row seats given the choice since the leg space seems larger than in a normal spot. Also they have the wide armrest to the aisle so they are more private. I really like this layout - aisle access for all and the seats are perfectly comfortable and I don't get the coffin feel about which some people complain, although I am only 5'10 and fairly slim. The service on Delta is very good on international, they keep you well supplied with drinks and the food was excellent on this trip. No complaints whatsoever and, although somewhat dated, I like this arrangement for business class

This seat has a lot of legroom, however relative to other seats the seat cushion is quite firm and not comfortable on longer flights. I had purposely chosen this rather than Delta Comfort+ because I like the extra legroom and not having the person in front recline, but I wouldn't choose it again as after the 4th hour it got quite uncomfortable. It seems Delta uses a different seat cushion on the seats with integrated tray tables versus the regular seats.

I am a big person (6'4) too. Beware the odd-numbered rows -- where the console is between you and aisle (as opposed between you and the window.) It is literally impossible to crawl out to the aisle without disrupting the person in front of you.

I am 6'5" and most of the Business Class seats are very cramped. If you're a side sleeper like me then avoid seats with consoles on both sides or a window seat with a console on the isle side. There is no room to bend your knees. These seats work well for under 6'0" people and back sleepers.

14A isn't too bad, but plan to check your rollaboard, as the overhead bin space is nearly non-existent. Otherwise, it's a great seat near the exit with no one across the aisle.

We flew from ICN-SEA and were pleasantly surprised with the Delta One product. We had 5B and 5C and we were expecting the worse after reading many negative comments. Good food and service. The footwell felt quite small at first but I made it work by flipping on my side and actually got a lot of sleep on the 10+ hour flight.

Flew from Shanghai PVG to Seattle. This plane, even though its 17yrs old, feels straight out of the 80s. The Comfort+ seat was hard as rock, the food was borderline inedible and the TV screen was almost as big as my iPhone. Proximity to the lavatory was not a bother though. Could not smell anything and lights were not an issue. Definitely won't be flying this plane again.

ICN-SEA in Delta One. While this style of business class seat is dated, it was still a comfortable experience. The seat in it's full upright position is not comfortable,however right after take-off adjusted into a lounge position it is very comfortable. The food was excellent and the wine selection also excellent. Reclined into the lie-flat bed position I was able to lie comfortably on my back and sleep. The seat-back IFE screens need updating as they are not very clear. Great service by the flight attendants.

Unless you are a glutton for punishment - rows 20 and 21 Delta "Comfort" not! The proximity to the Lavs have the doors open and close on lavs shining right in your face. The people, smells, and the door banging commotion not anything to enjoy on a red eye flight over the Pacific! Why Delta doesn't put a curtain separator this area I will never know. The legroom for exit rows is great, and during the day these lavs may not be a problem.

Weve flown to Europe in economy on American, United/Lufransa, Air France with no problems. When we got on this Delta flight, he couldnt get his kneesto fight in the soace. There were no other seats available on the plane so we spent the next 7.5 hours with me on my right hip and he in the most uncomfortable position ever. We were both sore for a couple of days. I would like to know how they measure the pitch, because this is the smallest seats weve ever had on any flight even though 5he say 5he pich is 30. Hate Delta, hate this aircraft. Never again.

I selected this flight in part because the seat pitch was listed at 77 - 81 inches. As I am 77" tall, I figured this would allow me to lie down 'almost' fully. But no, the lie flat bed was at least 5" too short to allow me to lie down and sleep relatively comfortably. I had to leave the seat back at an incline to fit into the seat length.

If you are 6'2" or taller there is NO legroom in economy. The problem with Economy Comfort is that all the seats are next to the toilets so the light comes on every time opens and closes the doors. Not a good plane configuration if you want to try and get any kind of sleep.

I flew today from JFK to SFO and was at first hesitant to choose this seat but it was the last window seat and I wanted to enjoy the view while landing. I was glad I did. Because of the lavatory, seat 1A sits a little further down the aisle and I didn't notice any of the action in the galley so actually pretty private. I'd sit here again without question.

Seats 1B & 1C were excellent - ignore the "bothersome galley" note. In addition, the footwells of the bulkhead are much larger than the rest of the cabin. I am 6'2" with size 12 feet, and slept very comfortably with room to spare.

I flew in this seat twice from Seattle to Singapore and never again. I cant describe how cold it got from sitting in this exit row. There was a cold breeze throughout the entire flight. The temp was as low as -5. I had on two pairs of socks, a sweater and my winter coat still couldnt warm up. Horrible seat for a pepremium class price. Avoid all costs

After reading reviews of the exit rows on this plane, I ordered an inflatable travel cushion to counteract the terrible seat cushion. The difference was amazing! The leg room in this row is definitely worth the extra $20 of buying my own cushion for a nine-hour flight. Proximity to the bathroom wasn't a big deal (as it was a daytime flight and I wasn't sleeping). Being close to the bathroom just meant that I didn't have to waste time standing in line until the bathroom was vacant.

DO NOT sit in exit rows 20/21AB or F/G (center section may be better but don't know). The leg room was fine, but the seat bottom "cushions" are so thin as to make it like sitting on a park bench. For an 8-hour flight it was excruciatingly uncomfortable, becoming actually painful by the end. I have flown almost 3M miles on Delta and never had anything come close to equaling this for being uncomfortable. To make it worse, you pay extra as these seats are in Economy Comfort.

Possibly the best economy seats out there! The leg room is ample (I'm 6'4") and while some may not like the lavs being that close, I feel like it makes the seat seem more private. Has in-seat power for your device, and if your traveling as a couple, you can't beat the 2 seat arraignment. Having the tray table in the arm rest is not a big deal and does not restrict movement in my opinion. Really, the only downside is the wing blocks the view of the world down below.

I'm 6'1", was worried about this flight and legroom, in fact very comfortable, lots of room, much more than on the economy seat on a delta 737-800 we flew on after this flight, good IFE, food fine. Also helps that the seats slide forward when you recline rather than just battering knees. As a result it doesnt take away from legroom. In the Economy + seats, you got a lot of legroom once people reclined, bothersome to be near the toilets though.

I chose this seat and paid extra based on comments. What wasnt said is that the seat is like sitting on a board. No tray table drop down. Instead a tiny inconvenient tray is under the armrest that narrows the seat. The seat is cold odors waft from the toilet and people are constantly opening those doors. Discomfort is magnified by no way to rest your legs. Yes plenty of legroom but your legs dangle. Could not sleep the entire 8.5 hrs tho an overnite flight. Avoid this seat unless you are over 6.5 feet tall.

Had a great flight from ATL to LAX. This seat has a brilliant wing view! I really liked the headrest on these economy seats because the sides bend inward to support your head if you want to sleep. I never really have a problem with legroom because I am only 5'3. There was also plenty of things to watch on the IFE system. Overall a good experience.

I sat in seat 19F roundtrip in May 2016 for a trip from JFK to LHR. It states limited recline but I found the recline sufficient. With the seats behind being exit row, there was plenty of room to recline without feeling like I was cramping anyone behind me. This was a comfort+ seat, no extra seat width but the additional 4" of legroom was worth upgrading for.

Comments refer to flight JFK to LHR on 25th April 2016. Fantastic legroom but.... 1. Absolutely freezing cold. 2. No hand set to operate in flight entertainment system so with large legroom acees to the screen for operating the system means constant moving out of the seat. 3. Tables, which are stowed in arm rests, are very small and have no forward movement. Therefore very cramped. However, on a totally full flight, it was worth the extra to upgrade to Delta Comfort.

Seat 1A is a flatbed Delta One seat. However it has a big advantage over other seats in Delta One: because there is no seat in front, the footwell is full width. In other seats the footwell is narrow and restricts your position. Consequently when the seat is down flat, you have the full width of the seat available to move around. After flying dozens of times on this aircraft, I now prefer this seat over all others, except 1D, which is the same.

The legroom in this exit aisle was amazing. I had plenty and a little bit more. The biggest complaint I have was the padding on the seat. It was very thin and flat. I felt like I was sitting on a hard stool at a bar. It probably wouldn't be bad for a flight of a couple of hours, but on a flight from Atlanta to Paris it was terrible. I am 26 years old, but by the time we landed in Paris my back and rear end were killing me.

The seat is comfortable BUT has only one window as opposed to the others which have two. This one does not allow a rear view of the aircraft and is somewhat restricted by the table to your left and the close proximity to the seat in front.

Flew this aircraft on the JFK > LHR leg. This seat does offer a significant amount of extra legroom. However, it should be noted that this style of exit seat is the removable panel type, rather than swinging door type, so its slightly less expansive than if you had a full on bulkhead style exit row. While the extra legroom is great, the biggest drawback is the lack of padding on this seat. While I am usually not one to agree with the amount of discomfort some passengers report on exit row seats, I have to agree in this instance. I sat in this seat for all of five minutes while on the tarmac before I noticed just how uncomfortable the seat it - you can feel your bones essentially hitting the metal on the other side of the padding. I moved to the middle Comfort+ row 19 before takeoff (it was a very empty flight - was able to lie down across three seats). The padding on these was significantly more comfortable, and the legroom differential wasn't enough to deter a 6'3'' person like me.

I picked 1D due to comments on here, on my way from JFK to FRA. Not the right choice for me, as it turned out. I guess what one person considers "private" i would consider uncomfortably tight. First of all, thisis an old airplane and the seats are old, and like any 767 Delta use to fly longhaul, its just not a great plane. Screen is small, like 10 years ago. In my seat i stare in to wall about 2 feet in front of me. And to the left of the seat is another wall, after the very tigy 24" walkway. Picking this seat was not right for me. The rest of the business class cabin behind this seat is open a bright. The foot rest in front is a little larger, but it doesnt make up for the feeling of being walled in, to me. Again, others like that it feels private. I don't share that sensation. Also, it is right by the stewardesses, so it is VERY loud.

Flew DTW to SEA on the 767-300ER. Overall great seat and service as usual. But note the window seats that are on the aisle, with their console against the window, are noticeably closer to the seat in front. The space between my console and the seat back ahead is too small for my laptop bag - only about 5 inches. The seats against the window with the console on the aisle have almost 12 inches, so you can walk thru. Can't tell about the sleeping position though, but would expect it to be similarly more roomy on the outboard seats. Seats B and C in the center both have the extra room.

It is noted in a few other comments if you read through, but 1A is really a great seat. My favorite seat on any Delta plane I've been on by a fair amount. Room for your feet when flat is better than other seats in the cabin and it has a very private feel. 1D is probably a close runner up, but in my limited trial there the crew activity up front was more noticeable.

Sea-Lehr all most a 10hr trip worst fight oh my life was so cold I thought I was going to be sick, if you set here make sure you have lots more then just a sweater and a winter jacket!! You can't set back at all and the seat padding was almost gone so your bum will be more then sore. Food tray is so close you feel like a baby pined in a high chair. Was miserably unhappy.. I paid how much to upgrade sooooo not worth the money!!

Had seat 1A from Amsterdam to Detroit. Reasonably comfortable but very little storage space. Biggest issue was the freezing cold air in the footwell. Even with shoes on it numbed your feet. I would avoid this seat if at all possible.

I just flew the 76W in 20B, the exit row Economy Plus aisle seat. The extra legroom is the biggest I've ever had on a Delta plane. As another commenter noted, my seatmate was under 5'3" and she couldn't even reach the seat in front of us with her legs. I didn't find the bathrooms bothersome as it's only two bathrooms with large doors that block the lights and they don't have the fluid odor you might expect. One thing not mentioned in the existing comments is the padding on the seat is very, very thin and flat. It was like sitting on a cheap bar stool. It was okay for a couple hours but just terrible for the rest of my 10 hour flight. Keep that in mind as you weigh the leg room with seat comfort.

This is the worse lay flat configuration that Delta has. All of there 767's are the same. When flat or close to flat you cannot bend your knees and you have to lay with your toes pointed because of the cramped space for your legs. The video screen is fixed and does not retract. Fly on a 777 or A330 if you have a choice.

The most uncomfortable business class I have ever been in. In over 6 Million + miles this seat and aircraft are not worthy of your $. No storage space at all. Very firm and narrow. Avoid at all cost.

Best Location for the following: Outside of aisle. Can lay down and extend knees and feet out of the bed towards the Hull. Private away from the bathrooms. This seat also gives a perfect window location.

I am only 5'7", but my knees touched the seat in front of me. VERY limited recline, almost negligible. The seat seemed a bit high, creating an awkward angle for stretching one's feet under the seat in front, almost impossible. I frequently fly between the US and Europe, this was one of the most uncomfortable flights.

The a MOST uncomfortable lie-flat seats ever. Even flight attendants apologized for them! Also the lavatories have been moved to rear of the business class cabin to enlarge the galley, so your illustration of the layout of this plane is inaccurate.I will go out of my way to avoid this aircraft.

Flew PDX-AMS in early MAR '15. Disregard GURU's cautionary yellow admonition for this seat. 1A and 1D MUST be the best seats in the house - unless one is claustrophobic. The forward bulkhead and configuration on the sides (no passenger even across the aisle) contribute to make these seats a pseudo-open suite comparable to many 1st Class seats. The only better commercial aircraft Business accommodations I've experienced was the Airbus 330-300 I had on the return fm AMS on this same trip. Yeah, the seat itself could have been just a bit more comfortable, but it was Miles and More (infer what you will) ahead of the angled business class seats I've endured. By the bye, the chow/service/et al was also exemplary. By all means grab seat 1A or 1D should you get a chance.

Very good seat. It benefits from the 2-3-2 layout as previous comments mention, as it feels less crowded. The layout also makes meal service easier and more personal, as you're closer to the attendant serving you. Legroom is standard but importantly, obstruction-free, so I had no problem storing a 60 litre rucksack underneath the seat in front. Would definitely consider Delta for long-haul in the future.

Without a doubt, the most confining and uncomfortable bus class seat I have ever flown. Once reclined and feet wedged into cubby hole, no ability to move. It was like flying in a coffin. I will avoid in the future. The aisles are very narrow and access to the seat is just as skinny. The test market must havebeen skinny, short models.

I flew this aircraft from FRA to JFK and did not find the proximity to the lavatory to be a problem. However, the tray table in the arm rest is difficult to use because it is so close to your body when opened. The extra leg room is nice, however.

25B was NOT a standard economy seat, as the comment says. It had the biggest metal box under the seat in front that I have ever scene. No room for my tiny backpack, nor even for my feet! The box was the full width of the seat and so close to the floor that I couldn't even put my feet under it. And this was almost 10 hours ATL-Rio! The recline was also the least I've ever had on any airline on the US-Brazil routes.

Delta's business class seats on this plane are extremely claustrophobic when reclined, because your feet extend into a tiny tunnel with little room. This is the most uncomfortable business class seat I have flown (including non-lie flat seats), and I won't be flying it again if I can avoid it.

I am flying this aircraft right now in seat 1A. And have flown this aircraft layout on numerous occasions. There is plenty of room for storage and ample leg room. I do not feel cramped nor like im in a cocoon. I am a 2MM and already a diamond on Delta and a 1K on United so i know my aupircrafts. No problem with overhead compartments for rollerboard. Will defintely fly this again.

There is room to put stuff in the area where your feet are, but due to an incline, everything slides down (i.e. bag or purse). So you have to put it above. The seat pocket in front is very tight and will not even hold a water bottle.

It is so frustrating that the airline decided to changed our seat assignment upon departure.Thankfully, it was a window seat and I was able to sit beside my husband.Now, I just got an email from the airline changing our seat assignment, to make things worse, we are far away from each other.Who travels w/ their family member seated away from each other!Thanks to expedia, after waiting over the phone for at least 20 mins. they changed our seats in such a way that my husband and I will be seated next to each other! I think , I will make sure not to use Delta airline next time!

This is a BAD seat, not "Be Aware". I am a Platinum Medallion member (and million miler)with Delta and have flown many international flights. This seat made this flight to Sao Paulo Brazil the WORST international flight I ever experienced. Because of the bulkhead I could not straighten my legs at all. My legs had to stay at a 90 degree angle for 10 hours because the wall is so close to the seat. A normal economy seat allows you to slide your feet under the seat ahead. Delta treats this as a Premuim seat for Medallion members but it is probably one of the worst seats on the plane. The only seat worse would be 22D (middle).

While other people have noted the "cocoon" like feel of the business elite seats, I thought it was great. Window seats are very private with no one next to you. Every seat has direct access to the aisle. (Try climbing over someone sleeping when you're in the window seat of most business class cabins. You have a nice shelf to the side to place items if you're working. I could see the narrowness of the seat being a challenge for wider folks or those that sleep on the side. I personally like to sleep on my back and found that I felt like I was in a cocoon (I'm 6'2"), which made it quieter and a little bit more private. Service was impeccable as was the food.

* Flew CDG-ATL. * Flight got off to a terrible start due to a 3-hour mechanical delay at CDG. Supposedly a sheet of ice had formed over a cargo door during its transatlantic flight that morning, rendering it impossible to open for quite some time. * Delta proceeded with boarding about an hour late, after which everyone sat there twiddling their thumbs in frustration for another two hours before the plane moved. * Delta's halting, indifferent attempts to communicate the situation to its passengers deserve a letter grade of "F." Over and over and over, we were informed that departure would take place in "just a few more minutes." Lies, all lies, I tell you. * Aircraft is NOT equipped with WiFi, despite cards in every seatback pocket touting Delta's Gogo service. When I asked a flight attendant how in 2015 a long-haul airplane could not have WiFi, particularly when said service was prominently advertised, she replied "It's frustrating, isn't it?" Uh, yes it is, particularly when I hoped to log on to Delta.com to check on re-booking my connecting flight that you caused me to miss. * Overhead bin was too small to accommodate my bag straight-in; had to load it lengthwise. * I did very much like the 1-2-1 seat layout in the Business Elite section. I was on the far right side of the plane with no one next to me. * Amenities kit was fine, with everything you'd expect and then some (even eyeglasses cloth). * In-flight entertainment system offered a pretty decent selection of movies, TV, and music. * Food was good in terms of both quality and sheer quantity. Champagne and wine both offered at various points. * Flight attendants were friendly, polite, and professional. Some bordering on grandmotherly, though, ahem. Also, only some of the flight attendants seemed genuinely bilingual, which at times made things difficult for some of the French passengers. * Delta, please reconsider your pre-flight video message featuring cornball humor and your CEO. I'm sure I was not alone among 200 disgruntled passengers when I flipped the bird in the direction of Richard Anderson's copraphagic grin. Overall: the flight & cabin crews did what little they could to make up for the disastrous start of our flight, but when an airline takes 3 hours to deal with a balky cargo door, thereby dooming 200 passengers to missed connecting flights, and further maroons them with no WiFi for 10 hrs, it's hard to say one had a pleasant experience. The lesson, as always: Delta sucks.

Legroom in this seat is unmatched in any economy seat I've ever had. Although I'm only 5'3" my feet could not reach the seat in front of me. The legroom and normal economy comfort recline was great, however the seat cushioning is significantly less than other seats. So much less that about 4 hours into the 10 hour flight I took my neck pillow and sat on it for the rest of the flight after a rather painful bottom from the lack of padding. If you bring your own pillow (the one provided did not help) to sit on, this would be one of the best seats you can get.

As so many have said, the new Delta business class lie-flat seats are horrible - the worst in the industry by some margin. The coffin-like foot area, the confining sides - just horrible. And no longer comfortable to just sit in - at least the older ones allowed for that. The Virgin business class is so SO much better. Delta - imitate your new partner - they did it right!

Every month I fly from PHL to GRU usually stopping in ATL, GRU and sometimes DTW. My comment applies to seats 19C, D & E. I am not convinced that these seats recline as much as the other Economy Comfort seats due to the bulkhead behind these seats. However, the added benefit of not having anyone sit directly behind far exceeds to "possible" limited recline. No one tapping the back of your seat to operate the touch screen and most of all, no one grapping your seat to get up and/ or sit down.

Had to post this for those of us who fly economy. Flew this flight from Boston to London. The seats were standard for the class, so no high expectations in special comfort. But I was happy for the 2-3-2 seat combo verses the larger 3-4-3 combos I've had on other airlines. The in flight entertainment had offered a wide variety of extensive choices, even for kids (which is helpful when taking a long flight with children). Each screen also includes a USB port so you can keep your phone/ipad or other device charged if needed (Again, very helpful when traveling with children. ) The meal was standard for rehaeated dinner airline food for the masses.

minimal storage at the seat. When fully flat, feet & lower legs are in a cocoon; not able to sleep on my side. VERY restrictive feeling for this long-haul LAX-LHR flight. I am 5'9" tall and if I were any taller it would have been a real nightmare. Also I would imagine for the broad-shouldered person this would have felt quote claustrophobic and uncomfortable as well. On the upside, overhead bin storage is quite adequate which is OK considering there is NO other storage near one's seat. Take a small bag with any necessities you might need for the flight, which will then need to be stashed way up under the center console of the seats in front of you.

Horrible Biz class seats. Very tight between the tray table compartment (which is next to the aisle) and the window. In the flat position, everything from my waist down (I'm only 5'10") was trapped in the tunnel that goes next to the seat in front of mine. Claustrophobia-inducing! No storage except for the shelf over the tray storage, and you'd need to clear that to extract and retract the tray.

Extra comfort seat. Delta doesn't have a true Premium Economy as yet. Lots of legroom. Seat narrow and control of video akward. Food is same as economy. Food selection poor. Toilet 4 rows back. Not good for sleeping.

I was excited to try lie flat seats for the first time on a red eye from LAX to ATL. I figured that I would sleep well considering that other comments were from people who were bigger then myself (5'5" average sized female). I was very wrong. I much rather would have preferred the standard First Class recliners to these seats. They were very uncomfortable in the up right position, and I could barely fit my shoulders between the armrests in the flat position. I also had trouble getting my feet into the narrow cubby when in the lie flat position, as others have stated. It was a very claustrophobic experience, and I am going to do my best to avoid this configuration in the future on Delta.

This flight was from Atlanta to Madrid. We purchased Economy Comfort (21F, 21G) which was definitely worth the price. The extra space was a blessing for the long flight. Entertainment was excellent making time pass quicker. Tray in armrest is always less than comfortable but not too bothersome. Restrooms next to seats were not a problem. The only problem was that the recline in both our seats was not functioning. We reported it to Delta and although they apologized and reported it to be fixed, we were not compensated for this inconvinience.

As a United Million Mile Platinum member, I was curious to experience Delta's "Business Elite" seating on my overnight flight from ATL to GRU. It was disappointing! As others have said, these lie-flat seats are narrow and the footwells are cramped. Though I'm just 5'9", I found it impossible to sleep on my side. Perhaps most annoying was the PA speaker located just behind my seat. While the ambient sound level was 70 dB, the boarding music and announcements jumped to 85 dB, which was overwhelming for me. I complained to the purser and was told it's impossible for them to lower the volume. They offered to change my seat to the center aisle, but it was only marginally better.

I flew this plane from Seattle to London and back. Delta has put new seats in and unlike the old ones the tray table in the seat in front is screwed shut - used to be just a button lock so it could be used if wanted. The in-armrest tray is about half the size of a regular tray and the meal tray does not fit on it. It is also far too close to the passenger's body for comfortable use. The leg room is great, but I cannot recommend the seat because of the poor tray location/size.

Great product, the problem is that it is always full so you really have to get there quickly and reserve. I think Delta should expand the economy comfort cabin. When you check in there are lots of signs selling the product but when you ask about it you find that it is always full. Great ploy or missed opportunity.

I flew roundtrip on this plane To Lagos in business class. I am 6'2", so not exceptionally tall, and sleeping in these things is torture. The previous comment about being 'mummified' is spot on. These are ridiculous. You lie flat but you can't bend your knees and turning over is very difficult because your legs are in a mini-tunnel. It felt like a little torture chamber. I am a Diamond member. Shame on Delta.

The business class seats on this plane are poorly designed. The configeration makes ones legs feel like they are in a narrow coffin or mummified. I am tall (6'7") but even a standard person seems to have issues. It is actually impossible to roll over while laying down. In fact, the seats that have the table between the seat and row, such as 3C, I find it impossible to even lay on my side as the seat is not long enough and there in no room to bend my legs. Awful Delta, simply awful.

This is a seat right next to the exit door. It has exceptional leg room, but with the door in place there is less insulation in this area and it can get really cold sitting here for 11+ hours from Seattle to Beijing.

I've flown this aircraft type frequently between ATL and LOS. The seats in Row 1 all seem to be cramped, especially 1A and 1D. I feel a bit claustrophobic in these seats. Overhead stowage is a problem as there is required equipment (oxygen cylindrs, bull horn, etc.) stored above these seats. Large items need to be stowed above the window seats. These bins are larger than the ones down the middle of hte aircraft. This applies both First and Economy.

I was on this equipment from Paris (CDG) to Seattle (SEA). The economy comfort was worth it. I sat in 21F and although the lav was right next to my seat, I did not find it bothersome until the last hour of the flight when people started to really abuse the facilities.

There is very little space for your legs in these business class seats. I tried to sleep several times, but could not even turn to stack my feet on top of each other, as I sleep on my side. It made for a very frustrating experience. I am average height, so I believe this issue would be the same for most passengers.

The extra legroom on these seats was fantastic, and the recline was good, though it may be limited slightly by the regular economy located behind. While the tray table is in the armrest, the video system (which was excellent) was located in the seatback. However, the amount of cushioning on the seat (I think due to being in the exit row) was noticeably less.

Only one window on this row which would be blocked by passenger on 17A. So someone on 17B would not be able to see outside. Also no remote to control entertainment system so you need to lean in touch screen to do your selections. But legroom is great and worth the additional charge.
