Overview

All of the 767-400 (76D) in Delta's fleet have been retrofitted with a new interior that features flat bed seating in Delta One. The 76D version aircraft flies all routes to London Heathrow and also New York JFK to Venice.

This aircraft features Thompson Solutions Vantage flat-bed sleeper seats arranged in a staggered pattern, featuring wide armrests that also serve as a footwell for the passenger seated behind. All seats have direct aisle access in this configuration. These seats are different than the new Delta One seats found onboard Delta's 777 aircraft which are arranged in a herringbone pattern.

In Economy, equipment boxes under the B, E, and F seats restrict legroom. The power ports in Economy vary from aircraft to aircraft, check the EmPower/AC Power icon below for more information.

Delta introduced their Delta Comfort+ branded product on their long-haul international fleet in the first half of 2011 and it is installed on this aircraft. The Delta Comfort+ section is located at the front of Delta’s economy class cabin and features up to four inches of extra legroom and 50% more recline. The Delta Comfort+ offering also includes early boarding and complimentary beer, wine and spirits. Delta Comfort+ pricing varies by route length and these seats may be purchased from Delta directly at the time of booking or at check-in. Delta Diamond and Platinum Medallion members and passengers with tickets in Y, B and M fare classes can select these seats at no charge while Gold and Silver Medallion member can purchase them at a discount.

This was one of the worst seats I've had recently. It was great to have only 2 seats in a row since was traveling with someone, but the pitch was terrible. I'm only 5'6" and my knees basically were in the seat in front of me. This was a 10hr flight from CDG to ATL - our 45min flight from ATL - CHS had more room in a standard Econ seat than this flight did. Also, the setback TV is one I haven't seen in years - luckily we were so close to the small screen it wasn't an issue

Paid $200 more for extra comfort. It was not! Maybe 2" more leg room, same with and was an old and tired seat as was the plane. Screen was scratched and plane was dirty. 2 cups under my seat when I boarded. No one cleanse I guess. Horrible 8 hours from BCN to JFK. ABOUT 55 degrees F and most people were freezing. Flight attendant could care less. Will not fly this type of plane again.

IT WAS AMAZING! This flight from MSP-HNL in Delta One was great. Perfect, I couldn't have asked for more. People who say "Oh it's so small and old, and bad" are either people who haven't flown it, or are joining in on the HUGE group think about this seat. The gally noise never was loud, you get your food first, and order first, The screen was large and brighter than the pictures look. The footwell is larger than the other seats, but even in 7D on the return was fine and I slept a good 5hrs. 2 complaints though. 1. Light from the back of the cabin was reflecting on the screen and was slightly hard to view, and 2. On both flights, my chocolate went flying into the forward galley, but the kind FAs returned it to me kindly. If anyone is belly acing this seat, stop worrying it is great. :)

This is not a good seat on the 767-400. The noise from the galley and the closets is overwhelming, and the toilets are in the rear of the Delta One cabin. The footwell is, indeed, slightly larger than other seats, but that doesn't make up for the problems of the galley noise.

I flew this plane in Delta One (5A) for an overnight flight to Madrid and in 30A coming back to the United States. I have to say, in all honesty, 30A was more comfortable than 5A. Yes a flat bed is nice and it's great to not have a seat mate, but the reality is that I could not sleep in Delta One seat. The leg space was so incredibly narrow that even my moderate sized body (I'm 5'6) felt confined. They call 'em coffin seats for a reason and it's really unfortunate because the service and food in Delta One are great but the seats in this 767 are terrible. Having said that, 30A was fantastic. The window seat in the exit row is considerably better than the aisle. The aisle seat has to share leg space with the cabin crew sitting in the jump seat during take off and landing. The window seat has just a tiny bit of bulkhead coming out from the exit door but it's completely negligible. I had unlimited leg space -- more than any other seat on the plane except the other exit row window seat. Trust me when I say that the exit row is MUCH better than Delta Comfort + .. I shuddered when I saw how tiny those seats were, with their nonexistent legroom. Whereas I could not get to sleep in the Delta One "bed", I slept a good 3-4 hours in 30A. The only bad thing about this seat is that it got incredibly cold. I knew this going into it, so I made sure to have multiple layers.. but even with THREE layers on my legs and two pairs of socks, my feet were still cold. And this was a daytime flight.. My recommendation would be to bring whatever socks you wear in the arctic, in which case you will be fine. But truly, even with the frigid air, 30A is still the best seat on the plane and that says a lot about the plane.

Outbound I rode in 1D, return I rode in 1A. Of six flatbed-seat flights on which I have flown, this is the ONLY instance where the flat beds were long enough for me to fully stretch out. I am 6'4", and lying flat I was comfortable. I can't guarantee other seats are as long, but these were good for me. That said, this was an OLD aircraft and the age was showing. The seats jerked when reclining, everything was scratched and marred, and on the return flight a panel kept falling off of the console and could not be reattached (the flight purser apologized for this, but could do nothing about it). Look just a little ways into the cracks and crevices, and the debris and junk lodged there is...terrible. Notation on SeatGuru that proximity to the galley may be bothersome is unnecessary; I found no problem being near the galley - and I am a person who is quite sensitive to noise, smells, etc. If you want to put up with a really run-down aircraft, this seat is recommended.

This seat is amazing! I don't know what all the complaining is about for these seats! I flew this from MSP-HNL, which is one of the 767-400s longest flights, and all I can say was IT WAS GREAT! And no, the A330 is NOT better than this plane. The footwell was just fine, and I'm a medium frame person who is about 5' 6". The food was great, the service even better, but overall, the seat comfort was the best. The IFE was not to small, but not to big that it made my eyes hurt, like the new A350s. Overall, this was the best flying experieence I have ever had, an would look for this plane in the future.

1D indeed does have a larger foot well; however, the tapering of the fuselage significantly reduces shoulder space. I couldn't sit back fully and ended up trading seats with the lady behind me (2D). I hope that I'll never have to fly a Delta 767-400 again: cramped feeling in every cabin and only 2 tiny bathrooms for business and just 4 for the 200+ people in coach. Not acceptable. (But the Delta flight attendants were great, as always.)

Like many others who have commented, I have to concur regarding limited legroom at the window seats due to the electronics box situated under the seat in front of you. I was lucky enough to be able to spread out to the seat next to me and sit diagonally, but it was still uncomfortable. If you want full legroom flexibility, I would avoid seats A and G on this aircraft.

On both flights to and from NYC to Barcelona the overhead bin was no useable since it was for emergnecy equipment. Also the seat in front of me 15E had an overhead bin that was half the size of a normal bin.

I enjoyed the lie-flat seats, but the seat bottom cushion is not very soft and after a while gets uncomfortable. Entertainment was OK but I like easy listening and 60's music and there was none. The chicken meal was very good. Twice I pressed the call button and got no reply. I had to physically get FA attention after about 10 minutes waiting. Like another person's comment, the FAs seem to hide in the galley. Overall, a good way to fly and I would do it again.

Seat and table were dirty. After three hours, seat was uncomfortable. If you extend your feet into the well, they may not fit. Narrow seat. Entertainment was poor, due to limited selection of movies. Crew seemed to "hide" in the front galley. Did not circulate for water/drinks. Food was poor, Steak was like leather. Overall NOT a Delta One experience that you want to repeat.

The foot wells in row 1 are larger because this is a bulkhead. Bring a set of ear plugs (who doesn't anyways when flying?!) and seats in this row are the best on the plane. Seats are a bit worn and IFE screen is small. Would fly this over a lot of the competitors in the transatlantic market though given that all delta one seats have direct aisle access.

I rode DL107 CDG to SLC in June in seat 1A. This is a far more comfortable seat than the 777 I took to Paris. The armest which holds the tray table is wide and provides nice space to work; with the table out, the hole where it normally rests can be used to store papers or books. Lighting and air was good. I had no complaints about galley noise but this crew was also exceptional. For similar trips, I will look for this plane in the future.

I fly Delta almost exclusively. These are the worst seats on the plane! We paid an up-charge for what we thought was a 'preferred' seat (as delta labels these seats). Turns out this seat had about 4" less pitch than all other seats on the aircraft. I an 5' 10" and I could not sit normally, my knees were jammed into the seat back in front of me. There is also a large box under 21F (not in front, under) that interferes with you. Absolutely miserable seat for an 8 hour flight. Avoid these seats!!!!

Row 19 is the first row of regular economy after the Comfort+ seats, which have a little more recline. So if you are in Row 19 you have less space when the seat ahead is fully reclined. In particular this made the (tiny) screen too close for a short-sighted viewer.

Seats 20B and A seem to have slightly less leg room than others, I'm not sure why. Other than it has slightly better seat width than the Economy seats on the 777s and 787s Delta's European partners use, so I prefer this or the Airbus on transatlantic flights.

This seat has far more room for long-legged people and the "coffin" for the feet is far bigger than standard Delta One 767-400 seats, but the noise from the attendants all night on ATL-PAR made sleep impossible and the opening and closing of cupboards adjacent to the seat was very noisy.

I am a frequent business class passenger. This was my fist trip in the 767-400 business class cabin. Seat was exceptionally narrow and perhaps the most uncomfortable business class seat I have ever flown. I am 6'2" and slim - I literally did not fit in the seat. The TV monitor was old and small. So small it was hard to operate. Avoid this airplane.

I have taken 4 10+ hour flights this year and this was the worst plane of all. I will avoid this plane at all costs in the future. The entertainment box under the seat made it impossible to put even my small backpack under the seat in front of me. I am only 5'4" tall and my knees were touching the seat in front of me. When I flew from JFK-Barcelona three years ago in 2015, there was absolutely NO appreciable difference between sitting in a bulkhead row in regular economy v.s. Comfort + -- AT ALL! NO DIFFERENCE! It's literally the same EXACT experience, but for more $$$$. Compared to other carriers like Air France, which actually offers a real Premium Economy product that looks and feels like a lower end Business Class product, I can see the logic. However, Delta is WAY behind in the game on that. My advice: spring for Delta One. It's TOTALLY worth it.

The foot cubby in seat 1A is larger than the standard Delta One foot cubby because there is no seat in front of it. The seat also seems longer, perhaps for the same reason. There is some noise from the forward galley (delta provides ear plugs), but this is usually restricted too meal service times. On the plus side to this proximity too the galley, the forward part of the cabin is served first and service seems more attentive than seats further back in the cabin making meal service quick, which is great for shorter east coast to Europe transatlantic flights where sleep time can be limited. Overall, my favorite seats in the cabin.

After reading some of the bad and cramped quarters experiences others have had, no, you cannot "complain" about the Delta One seat. I must agree that yes, it is a tad casket-like when you fully extend and drop that seat down. I had a hard time getting to sleep, maybe from the adrenaline of a first-trip overseas, but I recommend medication if you cannot sleep like a banana in it's peel. The crew and the service? Stellar!

This is an old aircraft, and it shows. This is the most cramped Economy Comfort seat I've flown on an international flight. The crew did their best, but better hope the passenger in front of you doesn't push their seat all the way back. Or, better yet, travel on a different plane.

Flew ATL-MAD and back this past November and have mixed reviews of the seats. Pros: the seats are wide and the 2-3-2 configuration is nice for solo travelers like myself; the 767 is a nice and comfortable airplane. Cons: the legroom seemed tight for a long haul flight in economy, and the TV screens were old and outdated. Service was good, nice crews both ways. Food was good, especially on the way back. Both flights were completely full. Even with the tight seat pitch and small screens I would be happy to fly this plane again, especially compared to a 3-3-3 or worse a 3-4-3 configuration.

I took this plane on a flight ATL to CDG on 31 October 2017. Seat 44G was probably the most uncomfortable seat I've ever had on an international flight. It was narrow and had NO LEGROOM! I spent the entire flight with my knees jammed against the seat in front of me and as a result have fairly serious knee pain three days after my flight. This is a window seat and I was barely able to move. Also the entertainment system is so outdated I could barely see the screen of the seat-back monitor. The audio is also terrible. I wouldn't recommend this seat to anyone.

We've been on our flight back home, Sep 2017 - ATL-DUS. It was my first DL flight so very excited about the product and service. Our flight was nearly fully booked but boarding went well. Both seats been clean and got a pillow and a blanket. Seat pitch is very limited and Im only 1,74m. The seat reclines but it feels very minimal if you compare it with others. IFE was a disaster. Touchscreen was slow and small and outdated. We had just only two films in German. Very poor on a flight to Germany. I would go for Eco + next time. Service was outstanding. We had a lot of fun with our cabin guys. Catering was okay.

Even though this was an aisle seat, there was nowhere to put my legs without bending then uncomfortably...62 and my wife who sat next to me in the window seat and is 57 was also very uncomfortable for the duration due to limited space. While the crew was great and food good for airline offerings, it didnt make up for the tiny seats. We were exhausted after our flight!

As said in the overview, there is restricted footroom on B seats, but also on 24A, there is no way a small (backpack) carry on will fit under the seats. Also the pitch on this plane must be the shortest among all Delta planes. Im only 5'6" and I barely habe enough room for my knees.

This plane is horrible. Do not fly this plane unless you absolutely have no other options. It's a cattle car and that's putting it nicely. The seats are the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in. They're like giant boxes with no flexibility. Also you can't stretch under the seat, so pointless to even pay for Delta Comfort as there is NOTHING comfortable about it. The interior is dingy and the entertainment systems are way outdated. The only happy people on this flight are the Delta One customers who've paid $5k each for their seat. I've been on plenty of other international flights and know there's a lot better options out there. Steer clear of this aircraft with Delta until they make the necessary investment in their infrastructure.

If you are short like me (5'0) IMO this is not a "bad" seat, it was VERY comfortable for ME. This was on return flight MUC to ATL. While sitting I could stretch my legs directly in front of me & still have about 1" before touching the bulkhead! Sometimes being short has its advantages :) I have back issues so any extra room is important to me, I don't care about no storage below the seat or the tray out of the armrest or the TV screen being small & attached to the bulkhead. I purchase window seats to be able to look out the window and yes, this one was offset enough I had to unbuckle & sit on the edge of the seat to view out so that was the only thing inconvenient to ME. My son sat in 15B, he is 5'9" and although he could not do what I did it was still somewhat comfortable. Unless you purchase 1st class, we all know we are going to be crammed in so any extra space is a good thing. It's all a trade-off & it's a personal thing. In closing let me add that on the outbound flight from LAX to DUS thru ATL, I was in 1st class on a 777 with the bed type seating. Who wouldn't love that ? Believe it or not, I was not as comfortable there as I was on this 767 MUC to ATL sitting in 15A. Go figure :)

I am 6"4" tallAnd sitting in this seat for 9+ hours was not comfortable. I definitely would recommend upgrading to Delta Comfort. It is not worth the extra money to have preferred seating. the flight crew was professional and efficient. The for was good for airplane food. The infotainment screen was inadequate. I would recommend bringing some form of tablet with the GOGO app download to watch movies.

Holy COW do Sardines have it great inside their cans - because the economy seat pitch inside the plane tasked to this route makes them look luxurious! Although the service overall was excellent, with a very attentive cabin team and above average quality of provided food, these can't top the fact that if you don't pay thousands for Delta One 1st class, or pay extra above and beyond your airfare for the Delta Comfort + section, and you're seated from row 19 back, you're crammed and jammed into 11+ hours of misery... Delta charges a little bit extra to get your seat assignment here when checking in. Don't go to the expense to get into a "Preferred Seat" because it'll still suck. When the dude in front of me reclined, I couldn't have my tray table open if my seat was not reclined. I'm 6' and 180lbs. Unless you're significantly smaller than me, you'll be uncomfortable & feeling claustrophobic crammed into this seat for 11+ hours. So spend the extra $$ to get into a Comfort + seat.

Row 19 is first after Economy+ .There is no extra legroom. Legroom is extremely narrow, mainly due to extra recline of row 18. This plane is old and has not much (leg)room in economy. Would not fly this plane again.(maybe eco+) IFA is also old and the touchscreen isn't very responsive.

The seat was exactly as expected in terms of the seat pitch and overall leg space. However, if I would recommend avoiding Delta 767-400's at this point due to their age and the completely worn out interiors. On my flight, my screen only worked half the time, the three people in the middle section of row 17 didn't have functioning seat-back tv's at all for the entire 10+ hour flight. The overhead lights for 17F and G were both burned out and 17G's recline wasn't functioning so the seat would automatically lean back for that passenger if they applied any pressure at all to the back of their seat. Ultimately these 767's have outlived their useful lives and need to be scrapped (which Delta is slowly doing already). If you are flying a route with other options, you might want to seriously consider a different flight that doesn't use the 767.

I wouldn't recommend any seats on row 15. While the premise of a bulkhead seat in comfort plus sounds great, you actually don't get to experience it on row 15. The bulkhead gives you only a few inches for your legs and you won't be comfortable in any position. Forget about trying to stretch for a long nap in an overnight flight. The IFE is also tremendously small, about the size of an phone screen but two yards from your face and to make matters worse, the screens are so outdated they are tremendously dark even with the brightest setting. Seats 15A and G do have windows but they're a little ahead of the seat so you're going to have to crane your neck. That part wasn't really an issue. For econ comfort I would recommend any other row outside row 15; however, in my opinion, best row is 30 seats AB/FG. While in theory some people may congregate here, the space ahead of the seats (in the emergency exits) has overhead bins so people would have to crouch to stand there and not likely to do so.

ATL-DUS: This seat and 22 G seem to have less leg space than others. Really tight. I am 6'2" and this is not reasonable for a 9 h flight, it is just like Spirit on a domestic flight. Food and drinks are ok.

This exit row seat, window seat is great. I flew in this seat for an extended MAD-ATL flight and could not have been happier with the legroom. There is mild intrusion of the emergency slide, however slightly angling your legs gives you access to unlimited room. As others have noted, it does get a bit colder here during flight, but it was nothing that could not be combated with a standard issued Delta blanket. There is definitely some foot traffic here throughout the flight, so if you are easily annoyed by others encroaching on your space, pick a different seat. All in all, this seat was much more enjoyable than the outbound selection of 36C.

If you are over six feet and have bigger than size 11 feet DO NOT fly this aircraft. As a handicapped person my doctor requires me to fly flat seats on long haul routes. First, these do not lie flat. Second, if you are six feet and over and have over a size 11 shoe your feet will literally not fit in the coffin. You can scrunch to make it work, but when you pay for a first class ticket you should not have to scrunch. If you have a choice find another aircraft until Delta quits flying these on major routes like NY to Frankfurt. The only thing that makes these tolerable are Delta's flight crews, which are great and do everything they can and more to make being confined to coffin half tolerable.

I've experienced all 3 classes on this plane at least once and this is currently the one of the only Lagos to US Flight that doesn't require stopping in Europe. Things common across 3 classes: Each passenger is given a water bottle for the entire 11-14 hour flight. You can bring the bottle to the back and ask nicely and the cabin crew will probably refill it. For Business class I would call it comfortable though being 5'5" my feet are slightly cramped. Food is nice but some meals are different as Delta changes things up on one of the only two Africa flights (other from South Africa) though two of the meals wont burn your mouth at least. Premium economy is nice especially for the extra legroom, comfortable enough to sleep about 8 hours in before being unable to sleep again. Food is not my type on this flight in economy as both food options are too spicy for anyone who isn't accustomed to the local food in Nigeria (Better to bear the spice or just ignore the hot part). Economy seat is still easy enough for me to sleep in and doesn't feel cramped. Still same food thing applied either way. In the end I'd say its comfortable in the seats but food not desirable all the time.

DELTA ONE BUSINESS CLASS WARNING: if you are over 6 feet tall, pick your seat on this configuration very carefully. If you pick a seat like 2B or 3D, with a console between the seat and the aisle, you will be miserable. This is because the leg space is completely closed in, forcing you to sleep or recline only on your back ramrod straight. Your legs will be in narrow tubes, which make it impossible to bend them. It is like a coffin. If you can manage to turn onto your side, you will be forced remain ramrod straight. Seats with nothing between them and the aisle, like 2C or 3D, are completely open to the aisle so you can sleep on one side and comfortably bend your knees. I am 64, and when fully stretched, my head and feet touched on both ends .

JFK to HNL on flight 426. Excellent seat on a lonnnnnng flight. The only possible drawback is that the armrest is on the window side of this seat on this row, vice the aisle side which is on the odd-numbered rows. It didn't bother me much, but I can see how others can be disturbed by people or carts running into their exposed arm during the flight. The Tumi travel kit was really nice; the food was excellent and the flight attendants were very nice. They served maitais upon sitting down in my seat. The blanket and pillows were clean and warm. Since this is a 1-2-1 configuration, there's no need to crawl over a stranger to stand up during the flight. Excellent flight!

LAX - JFK on this seat. Seat has ample legroom, but it's hard as a rock. I'm usually OK flying economy but this seat felt stiff, narrow, and barely reclined. I'm Silver Medallion on Delta so am used to their economy seats, but this one felt less comfortable. The BIGGEST issue is the tray table. It slides out from the arm rest but does not give you any room and doesn't lay flat. I had to balance my drink and snacks basically rendering the table useless. I thought it was broken but the FA said that's how it is. I'm not an average sized person and the table was basically sideways on my lap. I would rate this seat much loser just for that reason. If legroom is all that matters to you, then go for it.

This seat is horrible. Legroom is inexistant, due to the bulkhead. It is impossible to stretch one's legs. On a ten-hour flight, this could lead to thrombosis. At the cost of extreme contorsion, I was able to extend my left foot into the aisle only to be bumped into by cart and restroom traffic. The poor guy next to me in 15D did not even have this possibility of mild escape. And nothing for the right leg, which reached Atlanta with a cramp. In the 763s, DL was considerate enough of their customers to provide additional leg room for their Comfort bulkhead seats, but on 764s, the endless chase for revenue took over in the form of squeezing as many rows as possible. Greed is good! The seat in itself is a disgrace. That DL would call it "Comfort" is adding to injury, incidentally directed at their best customers (I am Dimaon and Million miler and was given the seat as a "favor"). The seating arrangement is best characterized as in violation of the 8th amendment (crual and unusual punishment). 15 C-D-E should be red on your diagram.

I flew 1B on a domestic afternoon flight to ATL and found it to be a great seat. The galley isn't bothersome (but could be for light sleeps on long haul flights), and as others mentioned, the lavs are behind a divider behind row 10. There's enough armrest/tray space to physically separate the person in 1C, but there's no wall for complete privacy (and each person has own armrest/tray). Able to see out the windows of 1A, 1D, 2A and 2D. Would fly it again, if the window isn't available!

The overhead bins for 40A and B as well as F and G had locks on them; when I asked I was told these were reserved for the crew. Fortunately the plane wasn't full so we were able to find other overhead space but this was inconvenient not only for us but also for other passengers in that area. Also, the legroom was atrocious - since the windows and seats didn't match I assume the cabin configuration was changed at some point. I'm 6'4" and my knees literally straddled the back of the seat in front of me....for 8+ hours. Still recovering from that.

I'm not sure why this seat gets mixed reviews. I recently (November 2016) sat in this seat from Atlanta to Germany and it was a great seat. Their is a crew jump seat in front of you, but they only sat in this seat during take-off and landing. I am 6'1, 240 and had plenty of leg room and the seat wasn't too narrow. I read that some complained about the temperature. I used one blanket on my legs and I was comfortable for the entire flight. I would take this seat over 30 G. The emergency exit door has a large hump on it for the emergeny ladder/slide which hinders leg room.

Delta Comfort + is a COMPLETE misnomer. My partner and I were on an overnight flight from JFK to Barcelona, and we were seated in 15A & 15B and it was EXCRUCIATINGLY horrible. There is ABSOLUTELY ZERO difference between Comfort + seats and regular Economy, that we could see anyway. My adivce: if you are on a Transatlantic overnight flight like we were, spring for Delta One. I wish we had done that. We probably would have arrived in Barcelona better rested.

Never again--pitch is terrible for two tall people, the a/c was on too high so I was freezing all night long even with two of their very thin blankets, and it's right by the engine, so extremely noisy. The only plus was that these seats are close to the bathrooms.

My wife and I were on this plane from MUC to DTW and chose the rear of the aircraft for the access to the toilets and the reduced foot traffic during the flight. The seats were comfortable despite the reduced legroom. Be advised that the overhead bins right above these seats are for crew and safety equipment, you'll have a bin if you take seats on the A-B side of the plane.

I read a lot of negative comments before this flight, which made me a little skeptical, but my fears were unfounded, and I can't understand why so many people were complaining. My flight left at 9:00, I had a great meal, I slept for 5 hours comfortably, had another great meal, then arrived in Venice. Best flight I ever had. Plenty of room for my carry on, seat was comfortable, slept great when the seat stretched out to a bed. Only possible negative is I can see beiing a little tight if you're much taller than me (I'm 5-8) but even that is being a little picky. Overall, I think people who complain about this flight are either very spoiled or need to get a life. Sit back and enjoy!

This flight is is from Lima to Atlanta. At the time the this 767 400 was used and found that 9C was very comfortable seat. It shows 9D blocked by as far as I know only 9A is blocked for the pilots as shown on the seating chart on international flights. The flight to Lima has since been upgraded this year to the Boeing 777, as previous flights of mine to Lime are from 2015 and back.

I found this seat to be very comfortable unlike the previous comments. I had plenty of legroom!! The lavatory next to this seat is for the First Class Cabin, so you shouldn't have anyone walking from the rear to go into that lavatory. It was not bad in that aspect. The only negative that I can really come up with is the window is a little misaligned with the seat. The tray table is also a fold out one that is located in the armrest. That really did not bother me though... Anyways, in my opinion this is a great seat. I am flying to Germany from Atlanta in August. I have selected this seat again for my long-haul flight.

Contrary to what some other passengers have suggested, this is one of the best seats on the plane - Comfort+ included. Unlike most exit seats, this one actually seems to have more padding than your standard economy seat, and at least as much as Comfort+. Additionally, despite it being an early February flight across the north Atlantic, I was never cold at any point during the flight. Another advantage of this seat versus the aisle seat is that while there is no floor storage for takeoff / landing, there is a magazine pocket attached to the wall next to you. As a result, you can stick an iPad, books, travel pillows, etc. into it, whereas the aisle seat has no such option. Additionally, unlike the aisle seat, you don't have to share legroom with the attendant in the jumpseat. I have very long legs, and could stretch out fully throughout the entire flight. Plus, sitting near the attendant during takeoff / landing gives you the opportunity to build rapport for the rest of the flight!

This is a great seat, arguable the best on on the plane (along with 1G). It is right at the front so feels very private and you are served first. There is a bulkhead and a small section of aisle to the galley so it isn't at all bothersome either from a light or noise point of view. The seat is very comfortable and the foot well is larger in this seat than others in Delta One. The seat is also infinitely adjustable for recline etc and the bedding they provide is great. In my opinion this seat works great as a business seat - not cramped at all. I am 5'10 and I had plenty of room. There is a slight lack of storage space around the seat but plenty of overhead space. The seats by the window are favorite as it puts a large armrest/table space between you and the aisle. Highly recommend this seat.

This probably the best seat in the plane. It is upfront so feels private, the space for feet is wider than others and there really is no way you can see or hear the FAs in the galley so it isnt bothersome in te slightest. The lavatories are at the rear of this cabin so they dont impact this seat, the traffic is low and you get served first. I would make this a green seat. It is very comfortable, not at all cramped for me at 5'10. Excellent biz class seat and service

Delta's Business Class (Delta One) on the 767 is not competitive with most other airlines. For a premium product the seats are relatively narrow, the IFE screens are small, and the seats are uncomfortable and tight in the lie-flat position. The 777, 747 and A330 have a much better Business product. DL has also tried to "up their game" with what they describe as an innovative menu. There were 4 of traveling on a recent trip to Europe, and none of us were impressed.

Each Business Elite seat has a large side table. This is very convenient; however, if that table is between you and the window, there are also a couple of "lost" inches between the table and the wall. Consequently, the seats with the side table on the aisle side have a few extra inches of usable seat space, and you don't get bumped every time someone walks by. In fact, I would rate the aisle side seats a yellow in Seat Guru.

Sat in 1A on an overnight from ATL-AMS. It is nice in that you are far from the restrooms, which are located behind you on this airplane. Strange but true. The negative about this seat is that it is next to the galley, so there is more light and noise than in the other seats. If you like to have a minimal amount of traffic walking past you then this is your seat. If you are a light sleeper then this is not your best choice.

This was a horrible seat for overnight. The design creates a tiny tube for your feet and legs - 5B has one open side, 5C does not. And there is little turning room available for the upper body. (I am 5'7" and at 125 am not overweight!) Also you are at the mercy of a traveler sitting in the adjacent window seat who raises the shade early and you are half-blinded by the light. Overhead bins for the middle section are higher than those over the window row.

I have used twice this plain in this year. One in january and second one on the 22th April. It was TERRIBLE! This seat is next to the emergency door which is freezing! I have asked the crew for an extra blanket but it hasn't not any one more at the plane! Delta should think on declare this seat a confort seat and maybe give confort blankets and charge for that...! Looked at reviews before and I assumed that would be the best seat in economy plus section. Indeed it is a great seat with decent legroom, I am 6'2" and I could easily stretch my legs. Unfortunately nobody mentioned there is a small (probably 3" wide) box at the bottom of the seat in front of you that slightly bothered me. Overall fantastic seat, decent meals and friendly FAs. Paid only 69$ for DUB-JFK route, but I did it around 3 months before the flight, was well worth it.

This is a NICE PLANE. We flew from Barcelona to JFK, made an 8 hour flight seem like a short haul. IFE works like a charm, unlike Lufthansa's system which is garbage. Ample pitch, recline, food is good for the price. Large selection of Movies, music, games, etc. BIG NOTE- this is the last row of AC power ports, we coincidentally had friends sitting right behind us in row 25 and they only had USB. Touch screens should be NO GO. DELTA, please install remote controls. Sat in front of a guy from AMS to ATL, who was playing games during the whole flight, meaning tapping on the screen appr. 50 times per second. I could feel all his tappings. I asked him to press more gentle, what he did, until he got exited in the game again, and started to press harder, when he was about to win (I guess). Very nice for the price, bathrooms pose no problems to location of this seat. I suggest wait till end to board as you will be bumped by many people walkimg by as they load rest of plane

If your shoulders are any wider than average and your seat is one closer to window than to aisle, the window arch is squeezing you in shoulder area, making those odd-row-window seats much less comfortable. The best seats are even-row B and odd-row C seats, providing some distance from aisle and attendant's rolling carts

The bulkhead seats in Business Elite all have much more room for your lower half when the bed is fully reclined than the rest of the cabin. If you are a singleton flyer 1A and 1D are the best choices; the bathroom is pretty far forward and never bothered me. The service was very good; fast, efficient, and very nice. The FAs are not stingy with wine glass refills either. Food is totally acceptable. People complain about the "coffin" seats but they are the widest in Delta's fleet. If you can get row 1 it is a great aircraft to fly on.

Excellent seat for me. I was able to stretch my legs ...people do gather around bathroom but was not much bother.... I am trying to get this same seat for my return...I am suppose to be in 15a economy comfort and I am willing to give it up to exchange with person currently in 30 a if they will do it ... Now having said that..., my seat mate in 30b was very cold.... me I was comfortable :-)

This seat does have quite a bit more legroom than the standard coach seat. It was worth the $59 upgrade cost. Being close to the bathroom is nice as you don't have to stand in line - you can see if people are standing in line and you can easily see the Occupied/Vacant sign on the door. It does get chilly though; I had sweater and windbreaker, but my feat were cold the whole flight.

The seat was nice, the fact that it is so close to the bathrooms is not bothering. Its nice that you dont have to walk through the isle in business class with business travelers giving you the evil eye. Nice seat, but i recommend something in the middle, like 5A Or 4A. Thank you! Seats 17A/B flight Madrid-JFK. Extra Comfort seat on this flight was almost like being in Business Class. Priority boarding, free drinks, attendants were very gracious, video entertainment outstanding (recently released films). Extra leg room. Well worth extra paid for comfort afforded by these seats.

For sleeping purposes, these are some of the least comfortable business class seats that you can find. Seats are rather narrow by today's standards, and the small space to fit your legs in while lying down is not ideal. They should consider a "herringbone" configuration instead. If I have a choice, I would not book the DL 767 in business class.

Wasn't a great seat. Right next to the galley and lavatories which are quite loud. The seat is also right next to the emergency exit which makes it quite cold, Even in the day.

Given the proximity of the emergency exit, this seat becomes extremely cold at night. I had to ask for two extra blankets just to survive on, and I was wearing long pants and a hoodie!

These Thompson seats in Business Elite are awful. Delta should get their money back. When the "bed lays flat," your feet go into a narrow tube from the knees to you toes. It is referred as "The Coffin Seat" in the trade. Try turning over....good luck! Delta should defer to BA or Singapore or Virgin Atlantic for their next try. I won't fly Elite again because of their "beds."

The bulkhead seats on this aircraft (namely 1A, 1D) are the best in the cabin. The cutout for your feet is larger in this row than in other rows. Plus, because you are sitting so far forward with no one else in front of you, the seat feels extremely private. I suppose if you are a light sleeper, the galley light and/or noise may disturb you, but it wasn't a factor on my flight. Plus, you are served first, so have a better chance of getting your preferred meal.

This seat is perfect if you have long legs. The reduction in seat width is not very noticeable if you're of average size. The flight attendant sat right in front and I had a good conversation with her. People do tend to congregate near the seat but it wasn't too much of a bother. Getting out of the seat was because of the space in front and you don't have to bother the person sitting next to you.

I have flown the new configuration of 767 (76D) twice in business class. If you are over 5'8" you cannot recline the seat even close to flat. I have flown many Delta international flights. These are the worst seats Delta has installed to date.

Keep in mind that cabin service starts on the A seat side of the cabin. So there for you will be one of the last to be served in Business Class. This may mean that if you don't eat fast the lights may be dimmed before you finish your meal.
