Airline Overview
Founded in regional Queensland in 1920, Qantas is one of Australia’s most iconic brands and has played a central role in the development of the Australian and international aviation industry. Today, the Qantas Group is a diverse global aviation business comprising of regional, domestic and international services; Jetstar, the low-cost carrier group as well as Qantas Loyalty, Australia’s largest frequent flyer program. Qantas made history in March 2018 commencing non-stop flights between Perth, Australia and London and in 2020, Qantas turns 100. In 2022, the airline plans to operate non-stop flights between London and New York to the East Coast of Australia, known as ‘Project Sunrise’.
